I got my Kaya "Chocolat" costume this week and it is absolutely beautiful! I tried it on and it fits perfectly! The hoop skirt is a bit bigger than I expected, but that is not a problem; it makes it even more feminine, in my opinion. The fabric is strong and has a very nice (and accurate) texture to it and flows wonderfully. I think that the wig may be my favorite part, though. My natural hair goes down past my waist, so it is always a challenge for me to wear wigs of any kind. But the minute I put this one on I was done! I didn't need to make adjustments, try to push my hair underneath it, or fight with it in any way! And the best parts: it's comfortable and my hair doesn't show! I always find myself playing with the curls whenever I have it on; it's so cute!
 
What makes it even more special to me is that Kaya is debuting in the US next weekend (Nov. 7-9, '08) in California, and even though I can't be there, I plan on sending a picture of me in the costume with someone who will be there and will meet him! I wonder what he'll think of it ^_^ He is a very special artist to me, which is why I wanted to cosplay him so badly.
 
I seriously cannot thank you guys enough for the amazing job you did! I was very worried about the end result, to be quite honest, because I've never commissioned anyone for something like this before. But you've exceeded my expectations and made me so very happy! You can bet I'll return to you for more cosplay work!

Whee! We've spent the better part of the last few hours oggling over the costumes and having fun trying 'em on. And laughing at the sheer bulk of the Hizaki petticoat. O_o!

Anyhow, the craftsmanship is great, as expected! =D Everything is beautiful. Really beautiful. We're loving every aspect of the works. =D It was worth the wait, and just in time for tomorrow. xD

Oh and I didn't go into detail about the wigs. Really love Kamijo's curls. You've no idea. I think I spent a half hour petting it happily. Also, the wigs smell nice. xD

Just to give a little bit of info on it, I checked my mail at eleven o clock this morning, and lo and behold! There it was waiting. I really, really appreciated the way that it was packaged, despite how silly I looked trying to carve it out of the box. A friend of ours got a wig from someone else, and that person sent it in a manilla envelope and... well, that was a very, very sad wig. We were very happy to find that it was not only on a wighead, but stabilized within the box as well. I think at this point, I was more excited than Matt (who was in class), and it isn't even my wig!

So, I brought it to our campus Anime Club Office, and started texting and calling around for Matty like crazy. I have never seen someone answer a text so fast in my life. He ran all the way across campus and burst into the office, demanding to try it on. He tried it, it fit perfectly, and we carried the head around all day to show all our friends. We were constantly getting compliments about how nice it looked, and how well done it was, and how it wasn't all SPIKES OF PAINFUL DOOM, but rather nice, gentle hair beneath the spikes.

And so, in short, we are sending you this big long email as a token of thanks, and to give you all the compliments that we received for it! Expect to hear from one, if not more of us in the future! (Heh, we kind of told all our friends, who told their friends, who are all now very enthusiastically browsing the website).

Hello. This costume made for the greatest day of my life. Everyone, quite literally "everyone", had something to say about the Kogenta costume, and there were photos-a-plenty taken throughout the day. The general assumption was that I was a digimon. Oh, well...I did my best to dispell that theory, but to little avail. The coolest moment came when a woman approached me and thanked me because she had completely enjoyed watching other people's reactions to seeing my costume throughout the day. I spent about 7 to 7-and-a-half hours in it (though only putting the head on for photos). I did sweat a lot, but it was tolerable, so thank you for constructing it the way you did.

I recieved the jacket, it is even better than I thought, magnificient detail to the beading. A little tight though but my mom can probably adjust it it. We were going to make but my mom was too busy to (the reason we had the pleather and lining). I just wanted to e-mail to express my EXTREME gratitude on making me such an AMAZING costume!! It was a big hit at my convention, and I handed out all the limebarb cards. ^^ I actually wish I had more since I ran out really fast. The costume fit really well (only fitting issue was that the bodysuit length is a bit short) and I really love it and am hoping to wear it for many conventions to come. You are a wonderful seamstress!! Someone even said that the Rikku wig was the most natural and accurate one they’d ever seen.
